dont you need a special adapter tool to go over the wheel studs so that your
torque wrench can connect to the axle and then be dead center?

then it says to block the wheels, put vehicle in neutral, lift one rear wheel up off
the ground and attempt to turn the other rear wheel with the wrench.

also, I never understood why you needed to make sure the measurement was in the range of
30 ft/lbs to 200 ft/lbs in order to be sure the LSD was working. can someone explain
what happening in both extreme? ( too little and too much torque required to turn it )
