It's my understanding that all SRT-10 trucks have the 500HP V-10 Viper
engine. But not all V-10 equipped trucks are SRT-10. If the engine is not
the Viper V-10 it is not a true SRT-10 truck.

So the Viper engine is not in all the SRT-10 trucks?

That's correct for iron block 488 V10, un modified, However a Viper V10
truck is stock 500HP :-)
