I ran my XM antenna cable up behind the seats, around the back window, and
through the light for the bed. I just put some silicone on the place where
it comes out the light and it sits right on top, nice and neat, but it sure
took me more than 15 mins...it was like 3 beers...

Odds are you'll have more than enough cabling to get all the way to the rear
of the vehicle, they tend to give pretty long leads on those things. If you
put it towards the edge of the cowl you should be fine. I've got friends
who've done that and never have issues with getting signal.
