Thanks for your input. All this started with my wanting to finally get a
limited slip diff, which got me thinking I could just swap axles from a newer
disc brake version. Clean and easy. ... Plus, my other cars have real brakes
(Porsche and VW) and sometimes the truck scares the *&^* out of me -- while I
wait for it to stop. But, unfair comparison. The board has convinced me to
just install a good lsd, save $$$ on the brakes and give the truck time to
stop. Ironically, I'll likley spend the brake money on the motor.
