It will for sure. Why not just remove the airbag from the stock wheel? It's
cast aluminum already, it's pretty light once you get the airbag out. You'll
definately need a wheel puller though, they're on there *really* tight.
When I had to pull my wheel off, it probably only weighed a pound or two
without the airbag in it.
If it was me I'd leave it alone, the hassle isn't really worth the 5 pound
weight savings.
If you're looking for weight savings, pull everything besides the driver's
seat and the dash. Since you're not driving it on the road unless you're
going to/from an event I'd assume creature comforts aren't that important.
