Hey Bob....oh well, this was easier anyway.
Edelbrock and Cloyes (sp?), make a great double roller. I have 145k on my
98, but I am still not worrying about the timing chain. A friend of mine
told me that the 318 chain rarely if ever gives any troubles.

Hey, DML!
Welp, just got done with another DAKSY bonding (bondage?) session...
This one was short & sweet, tho...
She now has a new (reman) alternator & serp belt...The squeal from the front
WAS
the sealed bearing in the alternator...
This was one of the first UNEVENTFUL bonding sessions I can
recall...Everything went
fairly smoothly from start to finish...
Hadda go with a reman, cuz a new one was $410! The reman was $140 &
therefore a
BARGAIN...
So, I guess she's good to go until the next item breaks...
SOW, anybody remember what Bernd said was best - as far as the replacement
timing chain?
I seem to recall him mentioning a double-roller something or other...
At 115K, I'm thinkin she's prolly due, but I'm hopin to make it til the
warmer weather...
TIA,
