I second that... I have the Gibson 3" and love it. Granted, I have some
extra additions to help compensate for low-end power loss, but haven't
really noticed any. For the first time in winter, I get 20 mpg when I drive
to Michigan (300 mi @ 60 mph).
If you do it yourself, just make sure you don't hook everything up until you
have cut (shortened) the pipe coming out of the Cat. I first did it and my
pipe exited 3-6" farther back than it should have. I since trimmed more and
re-adjusted it.
If you go with Gibson, be sure to take a moment and compare the two systems
side by side...
