Purge/Console. hmmm - The "purge" leads me to think off the bat - that
it has something to do with the EVAP system and the purge solenoid. IF
the circuit for that was out - that would trigger a check engine light.
Weird thing is that you said no code was stored. You can have codes
stored but not trip a light... but not typically the other way around.

I can look into that circuit a little more... but I'm willing to bet its
EVAP related. If the fuse keeps blowing - you have a problem somewhere.
I would not advocate putting a higher amperage fuse in place because
if its blowing - its a sign. A blown fuse should never be ignored or
solved with a higher amp. They are red flags for wiring problems.
What causes it to blow - you will need to know what it controls first...
before you can answer that question.

Are you talking about the latch that you hit to flip the seat back
forward to gain access tothe club cab? I'm not sure what you are
describing. I also have this problem with the seats in my 1995 Club
cab. (if its the problem I'm thinking of) The flip latches are screwed
up - and since the seats are ratty to begin with - I'm just going to
look for replacement seats.
