Hmm - I've never had any problems with my power programmer and my 01
Ram... I don't use it for the performance as much as I would like to,
because of the cost of premium gas and the thirst that my particular
truck has. I really wanted it for the ease of reprogramming the
speedometer - as I have larger than stock tires.

What happened when you plugged it in? It should show a status and a
message read out.. "dodge truck 1998" or something. I forgot just what
it does at start up - been a while since I used it. Everyone else i
know who has used one loves it and has had no problems with them.
