Its all a matter of perspective - when life gives you lemons,
make lemonade... That is to say, you need to make the curse work
FOR you rather than against you. Put the Dak up on the lift and
then concentrate. Try to clear all thoughts from your mind
except for "I really, REALLY hope these ball joints stay attached to
my truck!" They'll pop outta there all by themselves and fall
on the floor without you having to spin a single wrench. ;-)
Installation will require you to think something along the lines
of "Wow, the worst possible thing that could happen right now
would be for these crappy new ball joints that I absolutely hate
to somehow get installed on my Dak!" You get the picture - feel
free to improvise to fit your particular situation. You might
also want to throw in a few "Gee, it would be just super awesome if
my Dak slipped off the lift/jackstands and crushed me today!" - you
know, safety first and all that. :-)
