You and me both - I don't think its uncommon to spend $20,000 on a
wedding, and sometimes even more. Makes about as much sense to me as
flushing handfuls of cash down the toilet. Especially so when you
consider that half the time they end up divorced anyway! :-P
I mean, you drop all that cash, and the very next day you don't have
a single thing to show for it. If you absolutely MUST drop a boatload
of money on your wedding, get married in Vegas and put the money on the
roulette wheel while you are there. At least that way you have a
*slight* chance of coming out of there with something. :-) I don't
mind spending money as long as I have something worthwhile to show for
it afterwards. A big, expensive wedding won't make your marriage one
iota better than one performed by a judge, ship's captain, or Elvis.
I smell a scam in there somewhere. ;-) What a waste. :-P
