  This probably isn't the help you are looking for since I have no
Neon experience, but I had a spare moment and figured I'd throw my
$.02 in... It will depend on the routing of the lines... Since the
A/C lines do not connect to the engine itself, only the firewall,
compressor, and condensor, you might be able to get away with just
unbolting stuff and letting it lay to the side. If the radiator (which
likely has the condensor attached to it) has to come out in order to
pull the motor it could get tricky. Might be possible though; removing
the hood completely might help.
