premag vs magnum distributor compatibility?

   Was just curious if anyone knew what differences there might
be between a distributor from a Magnum engine vs. the premag?
Electronics compatibility issues aside, can a premag distributor
be physically bolted into a Magnum engine and vice versa? (Do
the gears mesh correctly, is the length right, etc?
