Try living here. I work for the CHP. They can stop you for pretty much
anything, all they need is "pc", probable cause. I've been reading all the
replies, and yet to see anyone that lives out here. Most of the local law is real
clueless to car stuff. When I had my 442, they tried to tell me I needed stuff
that didn't even exist on that year car, and "illegal" stuff that came with
the car in 1966!! Like open element air cleaner, open breather filters, etc
etc.
