Decided to keep my 99 5.2L 4x4 insttead of buying my bud's 05 4.7L (actually,
his bro decided he wants the truck!). So, gotta tweak my 5.2 so that it
solidly outruns both my buds' 4.7s (all are 4x4, one is OQ).
Mine's stock. Got a good TB but haven't polished it (it's in a box). How much
improvement can I get if I pay a shop 2 or so grand? Gotta have same
bullet-porof reliability. Any recommendations for shops near Washington DC?
Also, I've 3.55 gears and am thinking I should switch to a ratio more suitable
for acceleration and beach driving. ?
