I didn't change out the oil pressure switch as my previous experience is
that they leak from the unit when they go bad. I snugged the valve covers
but there was not much left to turn down. Thanks!

Put a wrench to the valve cover bolts. You probably have rubber gaskets
under there. Ya may be able to torque em a bit to get a good seal...
