I’m just a kid and I need help. My dad gave me an 1989 Dakota with a 3.9
engine
with a/c. He gave it me to learn turning wrenchs on and to drive when I am 16.
My problem is I have to replace the power stering pump drive belt. I got the
pump loose by unscrewing the adustment bolts. But how do I get the belt off
the engine? I think I have to take off the air pump belt too cause its in the
way but then do I have to take off the fan also?
Is there a way to get that belt off the engine that is easy without taking off
the fan and the plastic shroud or am I missing something? Can you slip the
belt
over the fan blades somehow? Thanks for any help.
