Do not know about e85 but I do know the Ford Ranger that I drive for work,
company truck, gets worse mileage on the E10 then it does on straight gas.
As for the E85 I believe it will be like when all the emissions were
mandated back in the early 70's. vehicles lost horsepower until the
engineers learned how to make horsepower and torque with the emissions.
Either way my Durango is not E85 compatible and I will not be getting rid of
it anytime soon.

Google searches only seem to cut the surface and I'd like to know more. I

Heck, I don't even know if my 2002 QC is compatible, or could be made to
be.
The nearest station that offers E85 is about 100 miles away and would
offer no benefits but it would be nice to have a better understanding of
the technology
Can anybody offer up any info, using it? know of anybody who is? Mailing
lists?
