Actually I believe the Mapsource products are up to v.7. Or at least MetroGuide
USA and City Select are, that's what I'm running.

Yea, I've noticed that also.

Yea, I guess it could be worse. I just got pissed that after paying $120 to
upgrade from Mapsource Metroguide v5 to v7, I had to pay out another $120 to
get City Select, which compared side by side to Metroguide, it the exact same
set of maps, same interface and everything. When I bought Metroguide, I didn't
realize it didn't support turn by turn directions when using it's maps in
nRoute, you have to have City Select to have that function in nRoute. It's the
same damn maps, with all the same waypoints, landmarks and such. The only
difference between the two is the licensing. If I knew that, I wouldn't have
upgraded Metroguide, I would have just bought City Select to begin with.

Magellin is suppose to be pretty good. I have a friend that has that little
Tom Tom unit and he raves about it. But if Tom were to get that, that would
just be "Creeeeepy".
