Well it finally happened - the Ram got me in trouble with The Man. Was
playing catch up with Paul, the guy I work with who has a Red 97 CC 4x4,
and got nailed allegedly doing 47 in a 30. Which is prolly fairly
accurate. Cop knocked it down to 40 in a 30, but still a nice little
$84 fine. I suppose that was his idea of leinancy... what happened to
first time offendered getting a break? Guess with 47 in a 30 he
couldn't - or wouldn't let me off with a warning.
Anyway - smokey won *this* time, but I've evaded him many many other
times when I should have, in all rights been pulled over and had the
sh!t slapped outta me heh. I let my guard down this time and wasn't
paying attention to the cars around of me, I was fidgiting with the
radio and he saw me before I saw him and by the time I slowed down he
had already flipped and hit the lights.
