I sent an e-mail to Lone Duck last night to inquire about the fire
restrictions and they wrote:
"At this time we have no restrictions for us. That is for the state
and national parks."
After getting their response, I checked out the link to the Governer's
page, and it does indeed say several times on the page that the ban
applies to STATE LAND. (i.e. not private campgrounds)
So, the traditional DML bonfire is still a go. (Although given the dry
conditions, it might be a good idea to have somebody besides myself
light it...) ;-)
