Well search under 'GrnDak4x4' in the archives and you will see I spent a lot
of time and money on my 1993 Dakota 4x4 V6. It still runs great to this day
and is daily driven by my father.
Yesterday I traded in my 2001 Dodge Ram SLT, Quad Cab, Long Bed, 4x4 2500,
5.9L 360 V8, bed cap, stainless steel grill brush guard, Rhino Liner,
leveling kit, LT315s, it was sweet and HUGE!
I bought a 2004 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab SLT 4x4 with the 4.7L V8 (auto trans).
I have a Rhino Liner bedliner, K&N FIPK, Flowmaster 40 Seires Exhaust (with
Thru-Body Exhaust Tips). This truck only has 11,900 miles on it! There is a
really nice, top of the line tonneau cover on it now, that I will sell and
get a cap.
The truck has 3.55 gears with a rear factory traction aid. Full power A/C,
PS, PW, PDL, Tilt, Cruise, keyless entry, factory foglamps, AM/FM/ CD, etc.
I really love the 4 wheel disk brakes.
I love the exhaust. The Flowmaster muffer is the single 3" in/single 3"
outlet. The exhuast pipe is then ran to the passenger side rear, lower panel
of the bed and there is a customed stainless steel "Thru-Body" exhaust
setup. It sounds very, very nice.
There is a billet gas cap/assembly unit and a custom wood grain accessory
kit (that I really want to take off!).
I have the Husky floor liners (front and rear) on order and I am taking the
truck in for window tint this week. I will soon be adding a Fastman 68.5MM
throttle body.
The big downside: Gitano 20" rims with 275/45R20 Goodyear tires. They are
very blingy and look really good, but not for a 4x4. I need to get some
stock rims and tires.
My monthly payments went down, along with my insurance!
