The 2004 Canadian sales brochure doesn't specify the size of the
upgraded mirrors. It lists 5x7 manual, 5x7 power, and "power,
aerodynamic, heated, black, folding". It says those are included with
the rear window defroster, but I can't figure out if they require the
defroster. I've seen the upgraded mirrors, and they don't look that
much bigger, but they are more square in shape instead of the almost
triangular point on the standard mirrors.

As of 2001 they were. The electrical uses a quick change connector. It
doesn't take very long to pop the door panel off to check, especially if
you have power windows and don't have to worry about the window cranks.

We have a set of '98 6x9 mirrors on our '01. We did discover that the
electrical connector was *not* the same, so check the year if you're
going to get them used. Or be prepared to splice some wires.
