   Yep. Well, technically you'd be checking the resistance range
(in Ohms), but yeah, as long as both senders work within the same
Ohm range and in the same direction (i.e. is empty the high
resistance value or low?), then either one should work with the
gauge. If they aren't the same, you could possibly adapt the
existing sender to work in the new tank.
