The only debt I have is the house payment. I deny myeslf the temptation of
a new vechicle until I win the lottery.
As a result I have a long list of vehicles that are mine!! ALL MINE!!!!
If the snow clears up today, I will be looking to add an 82 mercedes diesel
for about $800 that needs a starter. I have owned over 35 vehicles since
my first one. Some, like the Dakota, I have had for a LONG time, but most of
them are bought and sold as a hobby.
I bought, repaired and sold VWs to get through school many years ago. Had 7
of the little jewels at one time back in the early 80s. Nice to have a
spare car sitting in the driveway when age catches up to one of the fleet.
My most recent kick is Jeep Grand Wagoneers, I have two 89 models. The Dak
is my long time friend used for fishing, towing, hauling, cruising the
county side looking inside of old barns, dog transport, etc etc.
BTW, someone mentioned Tellico and the camp grounds but was not sure what
else there is to do other than play on trails. Well, wihtin some short
travel, there is shopping, LOTS of fishing, canoeing, hiking activity.
Depending on timing, there are large National Hotrod meets in
Sevierville/PigeonFOrge/Gatlinberg area. Did I mention shoppong for the
ladies? LARGE outlet malls in Pigeon Forge. Cherokee, NC is also close
enough for some trinket shopping and there are now casinos in the area for
those that like to give money away. Personally, I would not even consider
heading to the Tellico area without my flyrods.
Not sure what the usual meet is like, but if diversity is on the list, there
is a lot of things to take up your time in the mtns of TN.
