I have a 93 dak club cab 2wd v8. I got it from my Dad and it leaked
water in and puddled under the dash. We thought it leaked from the
hood, but I found someone on the internet who had found the same kind of
leak from the rear window. I took out the rear window and found the
seal to be extremely dirty. I cleaned the seal and it appeared to be in
good shape. I think there are little drain holes in the seal on the
side of the seal that is outside the truck. I re-installed the window
with the clean seal and it hasn't leaked any water since. That was two
or three years ago. I hope your problem is similar and as easy to fix.
By the way, I have 186,000 miles on my truck and am planning to drive
it until it hits 200,000. My first
dakota was an '87 with a v6 and I sold it with 140,000 miles on it.
