Gotta watch out for them sail squirrels, rabbits, and
the like. They gets real greasy under the bikes tires.
Worst one I ever saw was a guy on a Harley hit a dead
possum in the road and one of the critters front fangs
put a hole in the front tire. How do we know? We found
it there a few minutes later when he pulled over after
the tire went flat.

Anywho....Glad to hear you're ok Bob. Get the Sporty
fixed and keep riding. Personally, I ride like either
no one can see me or they can see me and they are
trying to kill me. Thank God out here in California
lane splitting is legal. I've only done it once in
traffic and it was to save my skin. At construction
zones, I do it all the time.
