Ok guys, I seem to have developed an exhaust leak up mear my pass
exhaust manifold. The problem is I cant really see where. I suspect
that even if it's just a gasket, the 130k mile rusty mess that is my
exhaust manifold is not going to want to come off. Soooo, What I *may*
be looking at is an "opportunity" to purchase headers for my truck. I
just had the rest of the exhaust [including the cat] replaced with 3" SS
pipe.
IIRC, most headers are more for HP than torque, but I *want* the grunt
torque down low. Any suggestions on where to go with this? I don't
mind upgrading when something breaks, but I am wary of unintended
consequences...
