I've only posted a few times to the list. The last year has been a bit
hectic for me. Found a house to buy, had to do a bunch of crap to the one I
was selling...the house sold, lived with friends for a month or more AFTER
closing on the 'new to us' house, as we were painting, get new carpet
installed (twice + the wrong padding once...that was fun) so we finally
really moved in. Did I mention that I really moved twice, since all our
stuff was in three different storage units? That was lovely.......
And in between all that, I built a fence for the dog etc etc.
So now with a real garage, albeit full of crap right now, I can finally get
some things planned out for the Dakota.....
1. Shocks.....at 52k, the stockers are toast. I really don't want to drop
the cash for Bilsteins..new house and all...anybody have any experience with
the Monroe Reflex or KYB? Which type?
I can get the KYB GR2 for $35ea, the Gas-A-Just for $45, and the Reflex for
$40
The cheapest (as always in my experience) is www.rockauto.com
$178 shipped for all (4) Reflex shocks.
Then I need to finally bolt on the rear sway bar I bought several months
ago. And I need to round up the bolts to complete the job.
That will probably hold the mod bug off for a bit while I get stuff around
the house straight.
