Yeah, it was. I couldn't figure out which was worse, having the flash
on, which closed the shutter too soon, or turning the flash off and
letting the shutter stay open for a second and a half. I had to delete
a bunch that were too blurry to see what was going on. I don't know if
you noticed me fooling around with the little Swiss Army tripod while we
were stopped at the waterfall, but that was why. That's how I got the
picture of the skipping rock splash. Most of the time that camera works
fairly well for an idiot-proof full automatic, but that day it made me
miss the 35mm SLR.

Hard to say. I guess there's one sure-fire way to find out, but it
might require some body work on Tom's truck. :-)
