I agree - DC did kill the R/T. While the new Dakota body style (ND) is
appealing to quite a large crowd, I'll stick with my '97. The lines are
smooth, no "new age" artistic lines (squared off/sharp edge), and is about
500lbs lighter. Plus, DC has te capability to put a 5.7L (let alone a 6.1L)
into the Dakota body style - they just don't want to as not to compete
against their SRT series.
As for one vehicle being faster that another - yeah, that's just the game we
all play. Just remember...there's ALWAYS someone faster than you. Heck,
I'll take a Neon SRT4 with mild bolt ons against a modified R/T - the point
in that though...nothing (read second sentence). ;)

just more of what I'm talking about when I say Dodge has destroyed the R/T
badge to the point where it doesn't mean what it used to.
