The connectors are NOT there, but it is possible to install it and make it
work. I did on my '00. But you need the wires that go from the trip
computer to the wire harness under the dash. Then you will need to splice
into the wire harness under the dash.

My Dak has the overhead console, but did not come with the mini
trip computer. Instead, it has the "Clip" to fill in the space.

Can I just get the computer and plug it in, or are there other
components I need?

I haven't yet checked to see if the wire harness is there.
