They don't make the bolt on pulley water pumps anymore. They are all
pressed on. You can use a pressed on pulley water pump on the GenII
Dakotas. You just have to remove the clutch fan from the bolt on pulley to
install onto the pressed on pulley waterpump.

Yes but your old one and the reman one used a bolt on pulley. Dan's is
pressed on. I don't think a pressed on pulley can be used in place of a bolt
on.

My replacement reman pump didn't come with a pulley, but the one I had fit
fine. I took the 4 bolts out and whacked it with a rubber mallet a few
times. When that didn't work, I grabbed whatever prybar was at arms length.
It's a '94 318 btw.

For the fan/clutch removal I had some hairbrained setup involving a piece of
angle iron. I'll try to find a picture.
