Yes...use the antenna adapter as there are no RCA inputs in the rear of the
radio's.
Removing the head unit: Remove the center dash bezel off and remove the 4
scews for the radio. No easy way to get at the radio from underneath -
Airbag Module and A/C module are under the radio - blocking any easy access.

My wife would like to use her MP3 player in the PT Cruiser that has the in
dash 6 disc player (no front audio inputs). I really don't want to use a
bulky FM transmitter. Are there RCA inputs on the back of these units? If
not, can an antenna adaptor be used? How difficult is it to remove the head
unit to access the back? Or is it easier to go from underneath?
