I don't disagree, but once people take the iPod pill, they tend to want to
stay there.
Personally, I have a Sansa that cost half as much, has twice the capacity,
is
upgradable to double what it came with, and plays standard mp3 files without
trouble, plus has a radio in it. And, if I upgraded it to Rockbox, it'd play
ogg files as well.
My daughter has the iPod. I'll give it credit for being a slick little piece
of hardware, but IMHO iTunes blows.
