With the dbl-rollers, it's really not required...but definitely helps keep
things in time properly. Even the dbl-rollers will stretch - seen that at
60K miles on my V6 with the high-end Cloyes chain (and on several others
with various dbl-roller chains). Do the chains stretch as much as the stock
chains....nope. So it's your call if you want to spend the extra $$$ or
not.

Thanks for straightening me out Bernd. :)

Do you recommend using the tensioner as an upgrade when I change the chain?
I normally use a performance double-roller chain set when I change them, so
I don't know if it would really be required.
