Seriously...try it. A good friend of mine is running the Banks 6-Gun (and
other Banks "accessories" on his '06 2500 and is getting 23mpg with a 50/50
mix of ATF (ATF+4 in his case) and Diesel. Without the ATF...it's down at
20mpg.
I just give him 10 gallons of the used ATF from our BG machines, he filters
it, and mixes it in his 50 gallon drum. Then, pumps it into his tank.

I'm playing with different things for fuel. Right now, it's 100% diesel. I
tried Wally World 2 stroke oil, 1 quart per tank, and while it was quieter,
the
mpg diff is so-so. I've heard sooo many stories as to what does/does not
work, I just gave up and run "normal" diesel. My Smarty programmer alone
has
given me the largest increase yet. I'm averaging 18 mpg around town now in
my
7000 lb truck.
Don't get me started on Mopar slams :)
