Leaking tranny pan

If it was me, I'd do the work myself.. Get a NEW rubber
gasket for the install. Remove the pan and give the
pan mating surface a really good examination for cracks,
smoothness, stripped threads, etc. on both the tranny
and the pan itself surface. Then I'd install the new
gasket. If there was uneveness or deep scratches
anyplace on the mating surfaces, I'd use the RTV.

NON-SMOKING AREA: If we see you smoking
we will assume you are on fire and take
appropriate action.
