You can eithe rbuy or rent the 5/16" fitting tool from most auto parts
stores (the plastic ones are cheap enough to just throw away after you're
done).

If it's leaking from the inside of the line (grommet) - get a new line. If
it's leaking from the rail connector (the actual line is damaged) - I've
actually got an extra V6 rail for a '97. I doubt it's from the rail though.

Subject: DML: Fuel line leak

Hey guys,

On my 97, 318 Dak I've recently experienced a small gas leak where the fuel
line connects to the driver's side fuel rail. Any ideas why and what would
be the fix, other than taking it to the dealer? I'm not quite sure how to
take this connector apart myself as that so called "safety clip" stumps me.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
-Jay
