Sounds like maybe your clutch fan is going out. It should have more
resistance to it once the motor is warmed up.

Ok after some testing this is what I know.
Idling with temp gage at about tdc or 210
Temp rad at the top hose side 178
about middle down that side 196
at the bottom that side 180
On the other side 98 at the top
91 middle
97 bottom
The accuracy of this could be called into question as I used a digital
thermocouple gage and held it as best as I could on the vain. But there
still is
quit a bit of temp diff between sides.
Right after shut down clutch fan was free to turn by hand with minimal
resistance. It felt pretty much like it did cold.
The Rad cap is ok I believe. I swap it with the Durango when this first
started and the Durango has been running fine with the one from the Dak.
So where to first a simple flush or off to the rad shop.
