Or that some of us are just fed up with stuff breaking and don't even
bother to post it anymore...

Decided to take teh Ram to work today... check engine light came on, on
the way in. Got to work and key on-offed to get the codes...

P0442 - EVAP leak (again!!!)

and one I wasnt able to identify right away...

P1746

so I started driving home tonight and the transmission wouldnt 2-3
shift. Checked the fluid... it was a little low but its still
normal...Drove back to work... identified the code as "Trans TQ
converter or Overdrive solenoid manfunction" yay...

I've known I've needed a fluid change.. but have not got around to it.
I'm about 34K on the fluid... the same fluid that towed christine to
Jons in 2005 and drove the entire colorado trip. Its smelling burnt.
Not good.

So I let it idle and warm up a bit and then try it again. Drive home
was ok - it was shifting gears but I kept the speed down... also could
feel it either slipping or something... hard to tell if it was a slip or
a solenoid having convuslions.

Couple that with a very obvious driveline vibration and deep thrumming
sound while in motion (I'm guessing driveshaft Ujoints - I hope its not
a bloody front hub unit bearing ...)

A punctured steering dampner...

"What was the bullshit with you and the standpipe!?" - Steven McCaffrey

(I'm guessing no one will understand the above reference)

Add in a blown intake manifold pan gasket, possible plugged CAT..

*sighs* its only four months away from being paid off too...

That truck aint going anywhere any time soon... its mothballed... along
with the rest of the broken non-functional fleet.
