If you see what Chrysler does on production line changes, yes...there are
changes in early to mid year for the next "production year". And yes...I
have seen several 2000 models with the older style injectors (Ram, Dakota,
and Durango). So did they physically start using them in 1999 - yup. 2000
models were being released mid year (1999) and the 2001 models followed in
late 2000. Funny thing too, 2009 models are already being released and
they're not even at the end of the 2008 build date.

"Expert" - nope, by no means. Nobody on this list is.

What amazes me is when the so called "expert" on this list gets information
WRONG, won't admit to it when corrected, then has all his little followers
sticking up for him. I guess you want to get "technical" the injector
change happened for the '00 model year, so that would mean they actually
started using them in '99. Or in Bernd's words "came about" in '99. Now
were' talking a two year swing from the '01 he initially stated.

It amazes me when the nitwits come out of the wood work. ;)

Impressive comeback for a mouth breather. Now, go away nitwit.

Nice try sticking up for him. He said they "came about" in '01. Not that
the changed happened "about '01". Big difference there. It's called
reading comprehension. :P

As for you Bernd. Haven't seen a single '00 Dakota that had the old style
injectors on it yet. But then again, I don't work at a dealer. And I would
hope it depends on build date, because the '99s and '00s have different
build dates.

Bernd said, "about" 2001...2000 would be "about" 2001, in car part
manufacturing, I think that qualifies, but thank you for the precise answer.

The change was in '00, not '01.

Yes, they are the same. Design change came about in 2001.

I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me if the fuel injectors from a 94
5.9L are the same as a 92 5.2L? I've been looking online, but haven't found
any definitive answers.

Thanks!
James
