Agreed - I see lots of people throw O2 sensors on a car/truck for no good
reason. It seems like the O2 sensor and the fuel filter are Joe Schmoe's
first
line of attack in automotive repair - no matter what the problem is. I've
had
people want O2 sensors and they had no other information other than the
check
engine light was on.

If the sensor I was having problems with was a post-CAT sensor and not a
pre-CAT sensor, I would suspect CAT problems - but again this was a pre-CAT
sensor. I'd prefer an NGK sensor, but its hard to find anyone who sells
them.
All the retail parts houses favor Bosch. I could try online - I know.
