Jon, the only other thing you have to think of is the vapour return line.
You have to cut it off at the original tank, plug that hole, then attach it to the 2nd tank, and your "fuel loop" is complete.
 
This is likely the route I would have to go for lack of options. I would prefer a true 2nd tank system where i could switch between tanks with an in-board switch, but I think i'd have to install another filler hose, or split the existing one.
