positive offset (i.e 25mm) pushes the wheel towards the outside of the
vehicle. Negative offset ( i,e -38mm... most commonly found on FWD vehicles)
moves the wheel towards the inside of the vehicle. A lot of wheel companies
have done this research already and all you have to do is tell em' what size
wheel you want and what tires you want.... then they magically show up at
your door mounted and balanced. One thing to remember also is that many many
many tire shops are not equippped to mount tires on a rim bigger than 17 or
18", so getting them in a package may not be a bad idea =)
