I wouldn't. Use the front hubs from a Ram - they're 5-lug and they bolt
right up. You'll need to change the rear axles though to the 5-Lug (Strange
makes a Oem replacement 5-lug).

hey bernd,

could i redrill my hubs for a 5 on 4.5 b/c? of course this would be done in
my machine shop (job) on a milling machine. you see any issues with
weakening the hubs?

thanks

When did Dakota go to the 6 lug wheel bolt pattern that my
'95 has?? Are they still with that pattern??
My '89 has a 5 bolt pattern that is the same as my '79 Aspen R/T and my '87
Diplomat..
I'd like to change my '95 back to the 5 bolt pattern.. Will the axles swap
out from the '89 to the '95?? Will the front upper & lower control arms
chango over?? Or can I just pop the ball joints out and change the
hub/backing plate & rotor assy over??

I don't carry a gun because I want to
shoot someone. I carry a gun because
I want to die at a ripe old age in my
bed and not on a sidewalk somewhere
tomorrow afternoon.
