Nope...same 5-bolt pattern. However, there is a difference in the
suspension which makes it harder to convert the pre-2000 Ram's to the newer
20" rim/tire combo. You'll need the spindle, hub, and control arms. 2000+
models can just swap out the tire/rim without any issues.
But here's my question, why all the "hoopla" over the conversions when the
factory system works very well (as you and I both noted). Just seems like
throwing money into the wind to convert over.

Azie's '89 rotors and axles to gain the 5-lug pattern? My understanding is
the later model Rams even have a different 5-lug pattern than the earlier
