No need or advantage to go that large (3.5") at all.

Subject: DML: Exhaust size question

On a '92-95 Magnum 318, is there any advantage to going to 3.5" exhaust
vs. the "off the shelf" 3.0" ones currently available, if you already
have decent headers? I'm more than happy to weld up my own if it's
worth it, it's just $$$$ to buy 3.5" mandrel bends. I used to run 3"
exhaust on my 2.5L turbo Chrysler vehicles, and I run 2.5" on my
normally aspirated 2.0L Neon, so a single 3" just seems small for a
5.2L... but then again, these are 2 valve per cylinder engines that only
rev to what, 5500rpm?

Thanks,

MattB
