Looks like it is the same. Reading up on t-cases, via
http://www.rsgear.com/articles.asp, the "transfer case identification"
article says that the New Venture Gear Company was a joint program between
Chrystler and GM, with C's New Process Gear Division joining with GM's Muncie
Division, producing manual transmissions and transfer cases.
