I have a "89 V6 A500 and a '95 V8 A518 and both have to be
@ least somewhat off cold prior to shifting into OD. The needle
reaches the long solid line, but not nearly normal operating
temp.

We could certainly slow the aging process
down if it had to work its way through Congress.
